We live in a culture that creates feelings of fear and guilt around our personal health choices. Through years of socialization, we get caught in the binary of “all or nothing”, “thin or fat”, and “good or bad” thinking. We learn that our bodies are not for us. Instead, it’s a tool used to hustle for worth, whether it be through certain beauty ideals, or how we show up for others. 

This is not health. 

In this Whole Body Health Review we will explore what health really is and examine the main pillars that make up your unique health blueprint. 

Most health models only explore 1 or 2 parts of the person. But health has to encompass the whole, because each part deeply impacts the other. 

Our physical health has a significant impact on our emotional health, which will have a major influence on our mental health which will also impact our spiritual health. The interconnection between these parts are certainly a complex connection, nevertheless, the connection is very real.

Through connecting to each pillar of health, you will find your own unique medicine. You will begin to hear your intuitions calling again, telling you things like, “eat this, not that, stretch, rest, take that class, avoid that person, do that thing.” You begin to feel connected to something bigger than you, you begin to come back to true natural health.

i’m vanessa. vegan chef turned food freedom + embodiment coach.

I didn’t always have a good relationship with food, my body, or myself. In fact, not long ago I found myself with everything I thought made up a happy life but internally I was lost, unfulfilled and dying to live by my own terms.

I spent years looking for answers.
